Honoring Our Heroes 2026
The College Station Noon Lions Club proudly hosts our annual Honoring Our Heroes Luncheon at the Brazos Center—a heartfelt tribute to the brave first responders who serve and protect Brazos County every day.
With community members, leaders, and supporters gather in gratitude, we celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our local heroes. A special thank you to our sponsors and volunteers who not only make this event happen, but making this a meaningful event every year.
Together, we serve.
Why do we host Honoring Our Heroes each year?
- College Station Noon Lions Club has been hosting the Honoring Our Heroes event for over 14 years. This event pays tribute to the local First Responders throughout Brazos County; and all funds raised from Honoring Our Heroes is divided equally between The 100 Club of Houston and the College Station Noon Lions Club.
Who helps plan this annual event?
- Our Luncheon is coordinated solely by volunteers - members of the College Station Noon Lions Club and law enforcement partners. Our original event started as an evening event at The Brazos County Expo Center with live bands and dancing throughout the evening; however, we made the switch to a luncheon in 2019 to allow more opportunities for the first responders to attend and be celebrated alongside community members.
Where does the money go?
- All funds raised from Honoring Our Heroes is divided equally between The 100 Club of Houston and the College Station Noon Lions Club. The College Station Noon Lions Club then helps fund (Always) FREE KidSight Vision Screenings, (Always) FREE Hearing Screenings, Texas Lions Camp, Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center, World Services for the Blind, Lions Club International Foundation, Texas Lions Foundation, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and local nonprofit organizations serving our communities.
